Capitalism, Racial Capital, & Taylor Swift [Part A5]

Because Taylor Swift is a white (middle?) upper class to 1%er she is a face of capitalism, intentional or not.  I’m going to disperse Taylor Swift’s wealth, business, real estate, and general **Capitalist Queen** deets between supporting evidence that Capitalism is inextricably exploitative, and racist.  Not wanting to come across as a hater picking on one individual when the problem is systemic, I have also included many (not all) donations Taylor Swift has made over the years.

Racial capitalism has in the past and continues to sow seeds of division among the working class, often along racial, ethnic, sexual or religious lines, to pit the working class against one another while the ruling elite continues to enjoy their pointless bickering from their ivory tower (21).

U.S. officials regarded Black subjugation as natural, and resistance to their oppression was a subversive threat that demanded especially harsh suppression. These officials depicted Black people as degraded racially and considered their very existence an inherently treasonous threat to racial capitalism’s dominance (22). [Incarcerated people, predominantly Black men] provide unpaid labor in private prisons, which has become a $2 billion industry (21).

Racial capitalism prevents the working class, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation, from realizing that they all suffer from the same economic problems (21).

An unrelated, but related tangent is next, but then back to Peter Pan.
